Annual Events in the Little River Canyon National Preserve and DeSoto State Park, sponsored by Jacksonville State University and the Little River Canyon Field School:
May through October - Nature programs every weekend in DeSoto State Park and the Little River Canyon National Preserve.
Programs are held at various places every Friday and Saturday, to include the Nature Center at DeSoto State Park, the Jim Wynn Campfire Ring in DeSoto State Park’s campground, and Nature Hikes on trails in both parks.
